| Here at the Sandy Creek Diner our goal is to provide a hometown atmosphere where friends can gather over a cup of coffee and some home-style diner fare. We aren’t fancy, but offer great food at great prices with a personable Staff that are truly on a first name basis with their Guests.
Owner Harry Pratt wanted the diner, which opened in 2004, to be a place for residents to eat and socialize, as well as celebrate their collective past. Harry felt there wasn't a place on the main drag where people could really gather. He named it the Sandy Creek Diner because he wanted people to feel they could call it their own.
The Diner and the attached Sun-Up Food Store were built on the site of a similar establishment, the Salisbury House, that was built there in the 1820’s.
So if in Sandy Creek, come visit with us and enjoy a hot cup of coffee, some great food and some great conversation!
